Growing up within a family that always put significant emphasis on the importance of giving back, The O’Toole Group has decided to make philanthropy an integral component of our business model. It is the “Why” in what we do.
Being an avid surfer, Sean continues to volunteer his time by helping to bring the joy of surfing to the under privileged. He volunteers with the Best Day Foundation, which is a volunteer organization that helps children with special needs build confidence and self-esteem through safe, fun, adventure activities like surfing and other water sports.
Casey on the other hand has focused his philanthropic energy toward more Global Concerns that are inherent within extreme poverty. During his tenure in Graduate School at UC San Diego, he volunteered his time with the Baja Project, which catalyzes change in El Barril, Mexico, to empower its residents and improve its education, health, infrastructure and quality of life.
More recently, Casey was the Executive Director of the non-profit organization, Hands 4 Others (H4O), headquartered in Santa Barbara and with the mission to empower young people to help solve the world’s water crisis.
Though it was difficult to leave such fulfilling position at H4O, Casey and Sean, have both decided to focus their energies and give back to such an amazing organization that does such great work, both locally and globally.
The O’Toole Group has committed to give 10% of all net proceeds from each transaction back to Hands 4 Others. They even plan to take trip this Summer to Mexico and see first hand the joy that people receive from receiving clean water for the first time.
